Country Porch

Every country home has a specific list of requirements, one essential being a cosy country porch. The harsh winters we endure in the countryside equals wet and muddy shoes, boots and coats, and this equally means a mess in the hallway of your home! Our client soon came to realise that the only suitable course of action was to invest in a chic porch to complement her property.

Externally:
The porch doors were designed to be flush with raised and fielded panels to both the main door and side screens. The Farrow & Ball French Gray colour was chosen by our client to perfectly match the rest of the property. The tiled porch roof was kept as the existing, there was no reason to demolish or rebuild this.

Internally:
Our client chose a traditional design for the porch internally. Whilst being of a small square footage, the porch was designed with the aim of also having a small amount of storage space so as not to look cluttered. This was achieved by our experienced and specialist installation team hand crafting a timber bench and storage unit to complement the space without it feeling over crowded. The design was drawn up by our client with her exact requirements listed. This was then hand made, painted and installed within a week. The tile was chosen by our client to add a bit of a wow factor to their guests welcome.

Our sales representatives worked hard with the client to ensure all of their instructions and needs were understood correctly before producing drawings for the proposed project. The sales visit and consultation stage is essential in understanding our clients ‘wish lists’ and making certain that we are recognizing their requirements.
